Employee
Processing and
Orientation
PGS
administrative
personnel can
assist with
forwarding
information
pertaining to
new employee
applications to
the
investigative
entity
concerned. These
include
clearance
paperwork,
criminal record
investigators
and drug testing
companies. By
outsourcing the
paperwork, your
employees can
devote more time
to core
competencies. PGS
security
officers and/or
account managers
can participate
in new employee
orientation
programs. They
speak to
security and
safety topics
like the role of
security at the
location; how to
contact security
if assistance is
needed; why
procedures such
as property
passes are in
use; and
demonstrate
handling of
safety
equipment.
Additionally, it
can be stressed
that in the
event of an
emergency,
security
officers are
generally the
first to respond
and client
employees can
rely on them for
assistance.
Having security
officers speak
to new employees
on
security-related
issues
underscores the
importance of
safety and
security at the
clients’
workplace and
helps new
employees feel
they will be
taken care of in
the event of an
emergency.
